NOT!
If you think about how the world is today you will notice a million things. Now narrow those things down into one word. That defines a human race. This word has played a part in all achievements and failures in the world’s history. This word is known by all people and spoken in their native tongues. Without this word hope is no more and with it hope is achieved. This five letter word can change everything that we know. This word you ask is peace. How simple. Peace can start at the smallest form. Peace with a classmate or friend can be the beginning for peace around the world.
Peace, it is used so loosely that the meaning is lost. It had been changed from an action to a way of life. To use peace as an agreement should be a crime because the peace we have is a way of life and becomes a part of you if used in the right way. Peace survives today as agreements where it used to be a way of life. Without the smallest amount of peace there would be nothing.
Inner peace can be a source of power and the ability to do something great. With inner peace, world peace can grow and be come a light that all can call there own. Without the achievement of inner peace nothing would happen. Inner peace gives you strength and courage to stand up for what is right. For the great men and women in the world, to do what was needed done, they must have been at peace with their self. One great man, Patrick Henry, said”give me freedom or give me death”. I have freedom but now I would like my fellow American, and fellow human to enjoy my freedom and the only way to do that is to achieve PEACE!
If you think of peace, you think of Martin Luther King Jr, and his nonviolent ways of creating equal rights for all men and races. These were the biggest peace movements of the 20th century. Today when we think of peace we think of Iraq and how peace there will save lives and natural resources the country processes. Peace can be a way for diseases to be cured and research brought together and the world can be one. With peace comes responsibility and that responsibility is to treat each other fairly so the peace does not go away. I think that with peace the average percentage of people who can read, write, and do mathematics will all increase a hundred fold. With peace the amount of poor people will also decrease because they will have the same chances as everyone else.
I believe that when God created the world he knew we would grow apart as a race but one day we would come together to solve problem, create works of genius, and even build a better bond then he expected. He created us in his image to live and work as one. Just like the body we are given to live in there are many different parts that work together as one to make individuals.
Even though we act so differently we all have a sense of inner peace that connects us like invisible wires. Today I am connected to everyone in the world as they are connected to me. Peace flows through every room, home, building, church, schoolyard, and even slums. Peace is always there. Peace is just one of the many pieces of God. So the question is not how do you obtain peace, but are you ready to grab it and make it your own? Are you ready to apply it to you life? Are you ready for everyone to be treated as equals? So the choice is do live like we are now or are you ready to change and bring inner peace, outer peace, and world peace to the planet
Was my first love from the first time I kicked a ball to the last goal I made in high school. I enjoyed every minute of it! Tonight I got to play with two guys that I played with almost every day of my soccer career. So many smiles so many laughs and yes so many goals! And for so long I had all my happiness in the game I love! Now how ever I find my happiness in something else in something completely great. This thing so great and wonderful and awesome! This thing is changing my life from the inside out and it’s a journey and I have only took the first step and there are many more to come. I just can not wait to see where and when my next step will be! This thing is my new love and it’s teaching me how to love. I love and live for this thing, for my God!
I’m sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic
I know I’ll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality
When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three
As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer
We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands
Our square root signs become unglued
Your love for me has been renewed
